UNION CELEBRATION IN LONDON. LONDON. September 19. The Lord Mayor gav ( . a reception to .1500 Methodists in the Guildhall, inaugurating the week's celebrations of the reunion. Doctor Scott- Padgett, first President of the United Church, said there were 10,000 Methodists already in London congregations, and 20,000 churches and (-Impels in Britain alone, which would also participate in the celebrations, which would bving the world’s largest evangelical church of fifty million niefjabers into being.
