The Bill goes to the Senate on to-day and it is exp-.cted to be adopted. If so, it will eonip into operation on Mon. day. If provides for new 44 per cent, rentes, to be redeemable within seventy five years at the most, and not to b’O convertible before January Ist, 1939. The estimated saving is £11,400,000 yearly.
