W.F.A. MEETING. The weekly mooting of the Westland Football Association was held las* c.vening. Present: Messrs J. Sharp (i.i chair), W. Robertson, W. Sharp. 1' Flood, E. Airey (Secretary) and F. M. Smyth. The meeting opened with Mr H. R. Barrett giving a comprehensive outline of the forthcoming school tournament. An account was passed for payment. It was decided that a repr-c sentative team should be sent over to play Canterbury F.C # on August 27th.. A letter was received from the N.Z Council pointing out that the Westland F.A. was quite in order in challenging for the Peter Dawson Cup, and a letter has been sent to the Buller F.A. asking for a date. It was decided that an account to the Greymouth Chib should be passed for payment, and that the Greymouth Club should be asked to lend their posts for the schoolboys’ tournament. Dobson defeated Taylorville by 4/2 and so retained the Blackmu n Cup. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. Blackniun Cup.—Dobson v. Cobden. lat Dobson, referee S. Hewison. Westland Cup'.—Blackball v.
