W.F.A. MEETING. The weekly mooting of the Westland Football Association was held las* c.vening. Present: Messrs J. Sharp (i.i chair), W. Robertson, W. Sharp. 1' Flood, E. Airey (Secretary) and F. M. Smyth. The meeting opened with Mr H. R. Barrett giving a comprehensive outline of the forthcoming school tournament. An account was passed for payment. It was decided that a repr-c sentative team should be sent over to play Canterbury F.C # on August 27th.. A letter was received from the N.Z Council pointing out that the Westland F.A. was quite in order in challenging for the Peter Dawson Cup, and a letter has been sent to the Buller F.A. asking for a date. It was decided that an account to the Greymouth Chib should be passed for payment, and that the Greymouth Club should be asked to lend their posts for the schoolboys’ tournament.
