Sale reported: Bank of New Zealand 42/6. On ’change: Okarito 9/5. 9/6. GREYMOUTH LIVE STOCK SALE. At the live stock sale at the Abattoir yards on Monday about 40 head of fat cattle and 75 fat sheep and lambs were yarded. Prices were on a par with those at the Metropolitan yards. The best of th,'. l ox and heifer beef fetched about 20/- per 100 lbs, with cow beef relatively less. The prices for sheep were as good as those ruling elsewhere. The following is a list of the principal sales:— A/c. W. Berry. Hari Hari. 2 fat cow.*, at £5 each, 1 fat cow at £4/15/-. 2 fat cows at £4 each, 2 fat cows at £3/17/9 each. 3 .fat heifers at £4/10/-. 2 fat heifers at £4 each, 1 light heifer at £3 10/-. 1 light steer at £4/15/-. 2 Jersey steers at £3/10/-,. 1 runner at £2/5/-.
