NEW GOVERNMENT
INSTALLED IN NEWFOUNDLAND. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). ST. JOHNS, June 29. The Dominion of Newfoundland came under the control of the United Newfoundland Party on Tuesday night, with Mr F. C. Alderdiee as Prime Minister. The members of the new Government were sworn in at six o’clock. Air Alderdice also took the portfolios of Finance and Customs. Other members of the Cabinet include Afr J. C. Puddester (Secretary of State), Air I. E. Emerson (Minister of Justice), Mr John Stone (Minister of Marine and Fisheries), Air W. J. Walsh (Minister of Agriculture), Afr W. Windsor (Minister for Post and Telegraphs), Air H. Quinton (Minister of Public Works). It is understood Mr Alderdiee will attend the Imperial Conference at Ottawa.
