FOREIGN BANKERS NUT LENDING. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). LONDON, May 16. The “Daily Telegraph’s’’ diplomatic correspondent points out that, foreign banks are no longer willing to make loans to Austria, except with guarantee from their own Governments. The British Government i» naturally reluctant to saddle itself ith anv liability for earlier loans, which merely postponed a collapse. There is no assurance that a fresh loan would fare differently.
