SHEEP DOG TRIALS
IKAMATUA RESULTS. The sheep dog trials under the auspices of the Grey Valley Collie Dog Club were commenced on Wednesday at Ikamatua. Excellent entries were received in each event, 21 dogs taking part and their work was of a high standard. The trials were continued yesterday. Wednesday’s results were as follows:— Long Pul:. —S. Barclay’s “Chappie,” 41pts 1; J. Brown’s “Tin,” 40 pts, 2; R. Wilson’s “Flyy,” 39pts, 3* J. Brown’s “Nell,” 37pts, 4. District, Event.—W. Dunn’s “Glen.” 32pts, 1; G. Gallagher’s “Maud.” 26 pts, 2; W. Dunn’s “Spring ” 25pts 3. Yarding (open).—J. Brown’s “Nell” 42pts, 1; R. Wilson’s “Fly,” 41p'ts 2; R. Wilson’s “Glen” and “Mack,” equal, 40pts, 3. The total possible points in each •event was 45.
