MOXLEY COMMITTED
FOR DOUBLE MURDER Incident of the Search (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). (Received May 4 at 7.50 p.m.) ' SYDNEY, May 4. In .the Moxley case, Mrs Marie Hard, ing. a resident of Bankstown, told the Coroner of Moxley’s visit to her homo On" April 14th. during the detectives’ search. He begged for food, and said that a man. was chasing him and trying ;ro shoot, Him. lie asked to be al lowed to enter the house. Sire consented, and gave him some food. He drew down the blind. He seemed to be terrified. He had a shotgun concealed in a piece of blanket. He remained for several hours. After other evidence had bc-On given the CuroLicr returned a verdict that t-lie man Wilkinson and th- girl Denzel, died of gun-shot wounds, inflicted by Moxley. Moxley was committed for trial on a charge of double murder. The Coroner congratulated the police on the able manner i n which they had conducted the investigations and th-e presentation of the evidence.
