PHAR LAP’S DEATH
EXPERTS’ FINDING. SAN FRANCISCO, April 2& The chemists, veterinarians, and and Federal officials have completed their three weeks’ investigation as to the death of Phar Lap. They have ascribed his death to colie. They m ported that lead arsenate was found in the horse’s vital organs. However,, it was not possible to determine it (his had caused the fatal attack c'. <•16010 indigestion. They explained that the quantity of lead arsenate was ‘ ‘ very small, ’ indicating a belief that the horse might have survived if he were otherwise sound.
