WOMAN KILLED

BY MOTOR CAR. (Per Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 1. Fatal head injuries were received by a widow, Mrs Dora Thwaites, aged 43 years, when she was struck by a motor car as she was crossing Hobson Street this morning. The injured woman was taken to the Hospital, where she died two and a-half hours after admission. Her principal injury was a fracture of the skull. Airs Thwaites, who lived in Manur.ewa, commenced to cross the road to her mother who was waiting for her. As she was walking across the road, Mrs Thwaites was struck by a motor car which was travelling down Hobson Street towards the city.
