FRENCH TARIFF
Large Increase ON MANUFACTURES. (Anw. ft- N.Z. Cable Assn). (Received March 30 at 9.50 p.m.) PARTS, March 29. The French Senat >, following on its adoption by the Chamber of Deputies, has passed an increase in the import duly on semi-manufactured and on finished articles from two per cent, to four and six per cent. respectively. I he increases are expected to produce £3,200,000 in revenue.
