COURSING
IKAMATUA MEETING TO MORROW. The first coursing meeting this season of the Jkamatua and West Coast Coursing Club will be held at the Ikamatua Plumpton to-morrow. At a meeting of the Club on Wednesday final arrangements were made. Th • National Association advised its per mission to hold the meeting, whilst Mr Braithwaite wrote accepting the position of judge. The donations of a gold medal from Mr J. Green and a silver medal from Mr Gilbert for first
and second places, were accepted with thanks. The medals are in addition to stake money. It was decided to hold a sweepstake for all unplaced dogs at the meeting. As there are several puppies in the district, if time will permit, they will be given a tryout. The Ground Committee reported that they had 25 local well-trained hares, and that the plumpton was in excellent. order and good coursing would be assured.
