The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24ft 6ins. The Gabriella is on route to Greymouth from Sydney, with general cargo. The Alexander will leave Wellington to-day and Nelson to-morrow for Westport and Greymouth, with general cargo. She is due on Thursday night, and after discharge will load coal for

Neslon. The Kiwitea arrived on Sunday from Auckland with general cargo. She will after discharge, load coal for Wellington.

The Kini is duo from Dunedin, via ports on Friday. At Westport the vessel will load coal for New Plymouth, and at Greymouth coal and timber for Miramar and Wellington. Th(<"’ Kanna is due to-day from Westport, to complete a cargo of coal for Auckland. A U.S.S. Co. vessel is due on Saturday next to load timber for Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle.
