The ‘ annual competition for the senior Surf championship of N.Z. was held at Sumner this morning, under the conditions of the Nelson Shield seven-man/event. Tlyree teams entered, two from Wellington (Maranui and Lyall Bay), and one from Canterbury ( Taylor 's Mistake ). The competition proved a very severe test.
