Many West Coast friends will learn with regret of the death yesterday at Wallington, of Mrs Williams, wife ot Mr Harry Williams, the weU-known formerly of Hokitika, Stafford and South Westland. ThR late Mrs Williams, a member ot the well-known SuUiva n family of Sout i Westland, wa s about 60 years of age, and was a native of Gillespie’s Beach. She was a lady of most engaging disposition and estimable character and made friends wherever she went, whoso sincere sympathy will be ex tended to the bereaved, husband and family. She leave© two daughters, Misses Marie and Margaret Williams, tli|o latter being the well-known erack tennis player and former We?- "bast Champion, and also five sons, 'RtMiry (solicitor), Charles (of the State Life Insurance Department), Lawrence (Income Tax Department), Thomas (Company Secretary), and Paityick. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs Fred Williams, *df Weheka, South Westland and Mrs M. Me Gavin, of Hokitika; and by tlhlreo brothers, Lawrence (Australia,), and Michael (and John, Proprietors of the Glacier Hostel.
