POULTRY CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Greyniouth Poultry Club was held last evening, Mr R. A. Barrowman presiding over a good attendance of member*. The balance sheet, showing a. credit, balance of £7/4/2. was read and adopted. The election of officers for (the ensuing year resulted: Patron, Mr P. J. McLean; President: Mr R. A. Barrowman (re-elected); Vice-Presidents, Messrs Robinson, A. Hopkinson, J w A. Jackson; Secretary, Mr A. Hopkinson; Assistant Secretary, Mr A. Dalziell; Treasurer, Mr C. G. Moore (re-elected); Superintendent of Show, Mr J- A. Jackson # The President expected all to do ■their utmost in the interests of the Chib, and he felt sure that with the co-operation of all members the Club would prosper. It was regrettable that the previous secretary, Mr Kendrick, was mv available for re-election, as he had done yeoman service during the past two years. It was decided that no delegate be sent from the Club, and that no proxy be appointed to the annual meeting of the South Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association [to be held this year at Gore. The next annual show of the Club. will be held on July 29th and 30th, .1932.
