GREYMOUTH CLUB. The following is the draw for the mixed foursome this week-end. Ladies’ tees must not be used. A medal match will be arranged for ladies not engaged in the foursome. Professional match play in the golf championship produced some surprises. In the second round, A. Padgham beat E. Whitcombe 6/5, C. Ward beat Havers 3/2, M. Seymour beat R. Whitcombe 3/1. In the third round. Easterbrook beat J. Taylor by one hole, Mitchell beat Davies 2/1, Seymour beat Cotton by one hole. The last eight are Padgham, Thompson, Ward, Weston, Herd, Mitchell, Easterbrook, and Seymour.
