AT CHRISTCHURCH. ] Everyone who has been to this j year’s Winter Show and Exhibition in Christchurch knows the reason why it I has exceeded all expectations and set l up records in attendances. It is i doubtful if it could possibly be imi proved for every square foot of the ( big King Edward Barracks contains : something of great interest for everyone and every minute provides enteri tainment and amusement that adds to the enjoyment and gaiety of the visit. , T tie biggest attractions a rc the numerous working exhibits where the operations gnd processes in the manufacI tuTe of articles in daily use arc shown. Crowds watch these demonstrations daily and come away more than ever convinced of the economy of buying New Zealand-made goods and with ’ the extra satisfaction of knowing that Iby doing so they will be providing i more work for New Zealanders. The whole of these exhibits are fascinating while in the shed section the prize Angora rabbits attract much attention. Qf course the arrangements for the I lighter side provide excellent music ’ and sideshows that create much merriment, making the show an event that 1 should not be missed. All the fun of the fair is there and considerable food for thought for all who seek ways and, means to economise in their personal l purchases and at the same .time aid inj keeping their fellows in employment. Intending visitors should make early arrangements as this best show in the history of the enterprise will be closing on Saturday, August 22nd at 10 p.m.
