BREACH OF PRIVILEGE. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, August 18. In the House, to-day, the 3'omm.ittee of Privilege reported in icspect of th>“ charges of breach of privilege against Bond and Bond of Auckland and the “New Zealand Herald.” The Committee reported that it had receiv cd eixlpressions of regret' from both the partie.-x and it recommended that, in vfi.cw of these expressions of regret, no further action should be taken. Discussion of report was deferred. The Distress a<nd Replevin Amendment Bill (Mr P. Fraser), was reported by the Statutes Revision Committee, to-day with amendments.
