Mr W. Byall returned yesterday from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs H. Minchin left yesterday on a holiday visit to Christchurch. Mr J. Lythgoe, of Dunedin, arrived yesterday on a visit to Greymouth. Mr T. A. Johnston returned by 'yesterday’s express. Mr E. Sheehan was a passenger by yesterday’s express from Christchurch. Mr J. O’Donnell was a passenger by last evening’s express from Christ church. Misses D. Mcßrearty and A. Pratt were passengers by last evening’s express from Christchurch. Mr W. M. Egglestone, Inspector of Public Trus* Offices, is a,t present visiting Greymouth. u Mr E. Bunt, of Auckland, was a passenger by yesterday’s express from Christchurch. Mr N. G. Marsh, who has been on a holiday visit to Christchurch, returned by las even’ng’s express. Mrs Sinclair Trotter, who has been On a short visit to Christchurch, re turned last evening. Mr and Mrs Allan Smith, who have been on a holiday visit to Christchurch, returned yesterday. Mr W. J. Butler was a through passenger to Hokitika by yesterday’s express. Mr Alan Kennedy left yesterday on return to Greenmeadows Seminary, Hawke’s Bay. Miss Melva Mclntosh (Hokitika) left by yesterday’s express for Christchurch. The death is announced by a Pro’s Association message, of Mr Charles Frederick Adair, a business man, of Gisborne. Miss May Robertson, who has been on a holiday visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Robertson, Taimii Street, left yesterday on return to Wellington. The condition of Miss F. Dargan, who was admitted to the Grey Hospital on Saturday in a serious conditions, was reported last evening to be critical. Mr J. G. Lancaster (Wellington), of the firm of Messrs Vickerman and Lancaster, consulting engineers to the Grey Power Board, arrived yesterday. Gu.>'ts at the. Albion Hotel include; Mr C. Bazar (Dunedin). Mr A. F. Brjr>dir (Christchurch), Mr W. Eggleston, Mr F. C. Fabling. Passengers by yesterday’s express to Christchurch included: —Mr R. Wild (Hokitika), Mr and Mrs J. McLeod, Mrs J. McGee, Miss E. Pcilion, and Mr W. 8. Young. The Gc’vernor-Gclneral and Lady Bledisloe went to Nelson by last night’s ferry. They intend to return to Wellington early next week.
