COLLECTION OF COOKHOUSE ACCOUNTS.
Mr H. E. Holland. M.P., has received the following letter (sth August. 1931), from the Minister of Public Works: “Regarding the decision to discontinue the collection by the Department of workmen’s accounts with caterers on public works: I now desire to mention for your information that I have arranged for one representative of all cook-Kouse proprietors on public works in the Greymouth district to come 'o Wellington along with the District Engineer, in order that I may discuss the question with them on Tuesday, lltht instant.”
