The Prince of Wales, during a r« und of golf on the Royal Wimbledon Course, last evening, holed out in one at the sixth, which measures 220yds. During nis visit to Brazil in March, on a course at Santos, wa‘s the previous occasion on which the P.inee performed this feat. WORK ON THE GREENS. ADELAIDE. July 27. Rufus Stewart, who represented Australia in the British Open Golf Championship, has returned. He is convinced that the Englishmen have little chance of winning the title for many years, because there are no budding champions. If Australians want to become great golfers, they must concentrate on work on the greens. This is the Americans’ strong point.
