SYDNEY, June 12. ! Serious flooding occurred in a nurn- 1 ber of places on the Murrumbidgee and Tumut rivers. The whole of the Tumut Valley is under water. The police rescued several marooned families in boats. Extensive damage was done to crops. A large concrete bridge over Hillias Creek, on the Sydney-Melbourne Road, was carried away. Several other bridges were washed away. Albury and Wagga districts fear serious floods. The rivers are still rising. TWO MEN DROWNED. (Received June 12 at 10 p.m.) SYDNEY, Juno 12. There are severe floods in southern New South Wales. They have already been responsible for two deaths. The victims are Andrew Peck, aged 43, sta-■ tion manager, of Dubbo; and James Roddy, of Coolac.
