' Harry Torpy, aged 46, described as la native of New South Wales, and a I showman by occupation, who was arrested yesterday, appealed before Mr Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court this 'morning. Torpy was charged with uttering a forged note on April 24. “This man was associated with one 'of the other men already in custody, and hie had been identrficTT as having passed a. note," said Detectivc-Sergc- ; ant Kelly, who obtained a flemand. Bail was refused. |
