WIGRAM SMASH
Lieut. Somerset Injured (Per Prej«s Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. April 29. When landing in the D.H.50 plane at Wigram aerodrome this morning. Flight Lieut. V. J. Somerset Thomas misjudged his height slightly, and the undercarriage of the machine struck a hedge. The machine turned over, and the pilot was thrown out. He sustained a broken arm The machine was damaged considerably.
