Hughes and Fong scored 'tries, and Fung kicked a penalty goal |and converted two |ries for the win|ner'. while Te Kinga's score comprised ■ a try. Mr W. Bring proved a'a effi- | cient referee.
KUMABA JUNIORS DEFEAT STARS. Star juniors journeyed to Kumara. yesterday and nlayed a game with th» f home team. Kumara won by 12 to 3. after a good tussle. UNITED DEFEAT KOKATAHI. United seniors defeated Kokutahi at the latter’s ground yesterday by 17 points to 6. INANGAHUA JUNCTION CLUB. The annual meeting of the Inangahua Junction Football Club was held at the Junction on Wednesday night, April 22, ’ when there was a large attendance of ( old and new players. It was decided to nominate :i senior and junior team for the Inangahua . Sub-Union’s competitions. Delegates to Sub-Union; Messrs S. • Whitehead, F. Delaney, and C. Potter. Line Umpire, Mr F. Tate; Time-keeper, Mr T. Scott; Colours: Black and white. < A practice was held at the Junction at 2.30 on Sunday afternoon.
