THE FLOODS. (Aus. a*ud N.Z. Cab-e Assn). SYDNEY. February 9. The flood danger on the Far North coast, and Queensland, has now passed. All the rivers are. falling. The receding waters are leavintg behind a trail of damage- to property, roads and cto])S. The railway communication from Sydney to Brisbane has been resumed. BRISBANE, February 9. Two men and a Brisbane boy have been drowned in Brisbane in the floods which are now rapidly falling, hundreds of refugees are returning io their homes. While the tide was at it 3 peak in Brisbane River on Saturdav. the water was about four feet the wharves on the northern bank, and drowned cattle and domestic pets were washed down with the torrent.
