The Greymouth Alunicipal Band will render a programme in the Band Rotunda on Sunday night, February Bth. Collection i u aid of Earthquake Relief 1 Fund. • CIVIC BAND RELIEF CONCERT. ■ The Greymouth Civic Band wid 1 render a variety concert in the Town : Hall on Sunday next at 8.15 p.m., as(sifted by the best, local talent. They , realise the worthiness of the cause, and would urge all to assist in their effort to raise funds for the earthquake sufferers. The Band’s items are as follows: Hymn, “Nearer My God to Thee”; march, “Blaze Away”; selection, Favourite Melodies; Waltz, Casino Tanzc; fantasia, Alilitary Church ■Parade; descriptive selection, “A trip to Blackpool”; hymn, “Jesus Lover of Aly fioul.” The supporting items will be published in our next issue. PUBLIC SERVANTS’ DONATIONS. CHRISTCHURCH, February 5. 1 At a largely-attended meeting of the i Christchurch Branch of the Public 'Servants’ Association, it was unanimously decided that each member should contribute one day’s pay to the earthquake relief fund. 1 TIMARU’S GOOD EXAMPLE.
