FILM STARS LOSE THEIR HOMES. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) NE,W YORK, December 15. A message from Los Angeles says: The fashionable Malibu Beach, the arcadia of film-stars and wealthy business and professional folk, was shaken by a mysterious blast, and ravaged by a resultant fire early on Monday morning. Eighteen residences and other property were destroyed, the damage being estimated at eight hundred thousand dollars. The occupants, including many woek- [ end guests, were driven into the biting morning cold, in meagre attire. | The blast, occurred near the home of . George De Sylva, song writer. The fire I burned for three hours. Those who lost their homes are Louise Fazenda, Marie Prevost, Allen Dwan, George De Sylva, James Mal- | colni Taylor, and Oliver Marsh.
