RELIGION IN SCHOOL
A GLASGOW VARIATION. (Aus. and N.Z. Cabl Assn.) LONDON, December 15. The Education 'Committee of the Glasgow Corporative including representative* of the Church of Scotland and other denominations, unanimously recommended a new syllabus of religious teaching in the Glasgow schools (which is the outcome of three years consultations. The Mew syllabus < init> the stories of Adam and Eve. of the Flood and of Abraham and Isaac, ’flu- teaching will portray Christ as the friend and saviour of mankind, but will retain the old idea of creation as told in Genesis.
