Mr. Karl Atkinson will ■ entertain with a gramophone lecturei recital on * ‘ Wagner. ’ ’ I 2YA Wellington, 5000 watts: —2YA’s I programing will feature Signor Bueien Cesayoni’s Operatic Company in ex I cerpts from Verdi’s popular opera “Il Trovatore.” The whoje of Act I will ! be given, and excerpts of the other | parts of the opera will include all the [ wg}l Xnown arid favourite solos and | choruses. 3YA Christchurch, 500 watts:—Friiay is flie night for a “Popular and Dah.ee” programme at 3YA. Songs by' the Valencia Quartet will be interspersed by ■ mouth organ items by ■ Mr. John Callaeher, .cornet solos ; by Mr N. G.' Coffin, and contributions, from Miss. Elaine ’» Hawaiian Trio. From 9.30 till 11p.m. there will be a danco music session.
4YA Dunedin, 500 watts:—4YA will be.carrying out a. relay from Oamaru—“Qur Miss Gibbs, as presented by the . Oamaru Operatic Society. The cast is an excellent one.
