The Mawhem Ladies' Hockey toai leaves to-day for Wellington, where will play several matches with team in the Wellington district, the firs of which will be against a Wellingto representative team on Saturday. Ip 1927 the Mawhc-ra. tean finished a successful reason by ad ding the Scaimei- Cup and Crankshav Shield to their collection of trophies and later toured Nelson playing sev oral m,.itches there without defeat.
