Forecast: Moderate to j)TCsh southerly winds from Cook Strait lorth; elsewhere, freshening cast to KWtlj winds; later, the winds becoming ijcircnerly generally, and of strong to, jale force. Seas (N.Z. waters): Still rough on tlie East Coast, and north of E'afcewell Spit; elsewhere, moderate , but a considerable swell on the West Coafel of thc South Island. Tasman Sea: North-east to north winds, and strong to gale, in the Eastern Tasman Sea, with rough seas. Weather: Still a few showers on the East Coast pf the North Island; otherwise, mainly flap, for the present. A renewal of unsettled weather is likely, however, Wiitpin the next 24 hours. Temperatures are becoming milder.
