MOVIE BOYCOTT

IS IT BLUFF? (Per Press Association.) STRATFORD, September 6. Mr E. Norden, manager of the local picture theatre, in an interview regarding the film boycott, said he thought it was simply a big bluff. There were too many interests involved, he said, for it to be anything else. If supplies were withheld his own theatre could carry on for six months, and during that time many other avenues of supply might open. This might be for the best, as it might do away with trashy films now in the country, which had been offered to exhibitors on many occasions It might also be the means of establishing cleaner business.
