A pleasaid afternoon was spent b; members and friends on the Makur:. Croquet Club’s greens on Wednesday afternoon when the closing of the greens took place. Competitions were held and the putting was won by Mrs 'Reynolds, the target shooting by Mrs P. Hambleton, and Ihc golf croquet by Mrs P. Hambleton. REYNOLDS TROPHY. The following matches have been I played for the trophy presented by Mrs Reynolds:— Ist Round: Mrs logarty won by default from Mrs Haglund; Mrs Davies won by default from Mrs Hambleton. 2nd Round: Mrs Smith won by default from Mrs Tennent; Mrs Fogarty Avon by default from Mrs Coburn; Mrs Hannan defeated AFi’s Davies; Miss Sheedy defeated Mrs Scott. 3rd Round: Mrs Smith won by default from Mrs Fogparty; Miss Sheedy defeated Mrs Hannan.
