IRELAND AND ROME
Diplomatic Relations (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) ROME, May 11. The “Osservatore Romano’’ states that the Irish Free State Government has applied to the Vatican for diplomatic relations. The paper adds that the Holy See has benevolently accepted the request, and, when the usual preliminaries are carried out, it will send itg representative to Dublin, and will be happy to receive the Free State’s accredited Minister.
