LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
CITY AND COAST MAYORS RE-ELECTED.
DOMINION RESULTS OF POLLING. The returns of yesterday’s election?, whilst complete for the West Coast, are yet to finalise in the largest centres, where there were many candidates and large polls, as well, in the case ot Christchurch, a s the proportional system of representation. The polling generally is reported to have been Peavy, but the results so far announced do not reveal many surprises. By the courtesy of the Smail’s Greymouth Radio Service Station, we are able to give a number of results that were not obtainable per Press Association.
