It is always well to mark the ewes on the shoulder and the wethers on the rump, with all classes, so that they ean be easily raced off at this end. In c.ny consignments to be sold as fat stock be sure and not include ram lambs or long tailers. Lambs for rape should be crutched. It is foolish putting a big brand on lambs and sheep—place a neat and attractive dot or two of different coloured bonieord paint so that they will look attractive. Be sure and brand them and let them into an open yard so th-t rhey do not climb all over one another and smudge the brands and look like “nobody’s child” when they get fo Addington.
