Allied Attempt TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF GERMANY. PARIS, April 16. During the course of the lengthy sitting of the Reparations experts, it became apparent that Herr Schacht was of the opinion that the Allies’ demands were excessive. Ke finally made suggestions which he undertook to embody in a memorandum, which ho is submitting to-day. PARIS, April 18. At the meeting of the Reparations experts Herr Schacht (German representative )| pn’seinted a memorandum. The figures of this have been kept secret. It is believed that the Gitrmans suggest that the annuity payments by Germany share run for thirty-seven years instead of for fifty-eight years, at a flat rate round about eighty millions to eight-five miftlioni (sterling each' yl J ar. The French circles ar© of the opinion tha* the gap between the Allies’ claims and the German offer do>?ls not cover the Allied debts towards America.
