PRISON ESCAPEE 'SURRENDERS

WANGANUI, April 15. Hungry and with a keen realisation that, the podiq” were hot on his trail, Walter Patrick Murphy, a prisoner, who escaped fom,' W’aikune Prison Camp on Tuesday last, walked into the Police Station at Wanganui yesterday afternoon ,and gave himself up. He will be charged at th!? Magiairate’s Court with breaking and entering the premises of S. J. Harris, boot importer, at Aramioho. Further charges regarding other recent burglaries ars pending.
