SCENIC FOREST DESTROYED. HAMILTON, March 4. A large area of picturesque forest on Te Aroha Mountain, estimated at 200 aeres, was destroyed by fire during the week end. This fire following that of last summer, has spoiled much of the beauty of the mountain scenery. LICENSING ELECTIONS. WELLINGTON, March 4. By a supplementary gazette issued tonight, the names of Returning Officers and a list. of the polling places under the Licensing Act are notified.
