The purpose of the revolution is understood to place in the Presidency of Mexico Gilberto Valenzuela, who formerly was the Minister for Mexico to Great Britain, and who recently announced his candidacy as opposed to the Provisional President, Gil. America Advised. RISINGS IN TWO STATES. WASHINGTON, March 4. The Department of State has been officially advised that revolutionary forces have attacked the government of President Gil in Mexico simultaneously at Nogales bn the United States border in the State of Sonora, and at Vera Cruz, on the Gulf. The extent of the casualties is unknown. Communications, have been severely impaired. GIL CALLS ON CALLES. REBELS GAIN VERA CRUZ. MEXICO CITY, March 4. The Government of Mexico is facing a serious revolt to-night. with General Fraucisc 0 Manzo in the State of Sonora, and General Jesus Aguirre in the State of Vera Cruz rising against the Gil Administration. ( Resident Gil has summoned his \Ami itary commanders in this city for jHa "consultation on the campaign plans against the rebel forces, and has recalled ex-President Calles to the head of the loyal army. He has also asked aviators at Valbuena field to prepare for war duty. Nogales City and virtually the entire State of Vera Cruz are under rebel control to-night. It is reported that the Government censorship has been established over all outgoing messages. • ARMY’S REVOLT. EXTENDS TO SEVEN STATES.
