Over two million, almost a quarter of the population of Kansu province, have perished as the result of the famine and of war ravages, and also of Moslem massacres in less than cue year, according to the ia-L st reports from the grief stricken areas. Grave fours are held of a plague outbreak. Yet the neighbouring provinces refuse to delete their own meagre stocks by aiding the sufferers.
