FLOWER SHOW.
FINE DISPLAY AT HOLY TRINITY HALL. The annual summer flower show of fhe Holy Trinity Horticultural Soeiey was staged at Holy Trinity Hal' yesterday, and attracted a good attendance of the public. The exhibits, particularly in the cut flower section, were generally of a very high stand ard, the displays of sweet peas and dahlias being exceptionally fine The decorated tables as usual were a very attractive feature of the show, while the domestic section provided a large and varied number of exhibits, giving evidence of keen competition, and generally reflecting much credit upon the exhibitors. There were also a number of stalls, well stocked with edibles and needlework of various kinds, all of which were well patronised. ,
During the evening patrons were entertained by a concert party, ano at the conclusion of the programme, a dainty supper was dispensed. The list of awards is as follows:—•' SECTION A (CUT FLOWERS).
