AUCKLAND, February .13. At the Grammar Swimming Club’s carnival at the tepid baths to-night, Miss Peggy Robertson (100 yards and 220 yards intermediate girl champion of New Zealand) dead-heated from scratch in the 100 yards ladies’ handicap, with Miss D. Grant (1 sec) Miss Robertson’s time‘was announced as 65 2-5, which is 1-5 sec better than Miss Ena Stockley’s New Zealand record. In his heat of the 220 yards men’s handicap, G. Bridsbn (440 yards and 880 yards New Zealand champion) was timed at 2 min 31 sec, which equals the Dominion record of A. Stokes (Canterbury) i established in Wellington last week.
