DE VALERA’S REFUSAL
OF RELEASE ON TERMS. LONDON, February 12. Acting on the suggestion of President Cosgrave. of the Irish Free State, that Mr De Valera should be released purely as an act of grace, the Minister for Home Affairs for Northern Ireland offered him his freedom, conditional upon necessary undertakings beug given. Mr De Valera rigidly refused, and he thus remains in gaol. *
