Catholics’ Estates to be Confiscated. (United Service.) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Aesn.) (Received February 12 at 5.5 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, February 12. In a signed statement, printed in newspapers to-day. President Gil accused Catholic Church elements with fomenting trouble jn Mexico. He announced that their estates are to be confiscated in an effort to quell antiGovernment movements. He added that the confiscated estates would be distributed among peasants.
