GENERAL BOOTH.

Replies to Attacks. (United Service.) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received February 12 at 8.35 p.m) LONDON, February 11. Replying to the attacks on him, General Booth declares that he does not desire to destroy the 1904 Deed. He is only resorting to the Courts because the action under that deed which is now without precedent, being meditated, necessitates an immediate legal decision as to whether the Deed is valid. If it is not, it must be altered and strengthened, because the essential features of the Deed must remain part of the Army’s constitution.
