JN PURSUANCE and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by “The Counties Act, 1920” and “The Health Act, 1920,” and the several Acts amending the same respectively, and of every other power in this respect enabling it to do so, the Council of rhe County of Grey at a special meeting duly held on tho 6th day of December, 1928, at the Council Chambers, Greymouth, hereby makes by special order a by-law under “the Counties Act, 1920” and “The Health Act, 1920” and the amendments thereto intituled “The Health By-Law 1928,” such By-Law to be in force th oughout the said County as specified in Schedule 3 thereof save and except so far as its application may be limited in regard to such part or parts of the said By-Law and to such part or parts of the said County as is therein defined in the respective special order making same. The object and purport of the said By-Law are to deal with the following matters:— 1. —lnterpretation. 2. —Building. 3. —Structure and cleansing of Privies. 4. —Drainage. 5. —Lodging Houses. 6. —Eating Houses. 7. —Prevention of contamination of food during manufacture and sale. 8 — Keeping animals. 9. —Offensive Trades. 10. —Public Halls, theatres, and concert halls. 11. —Treatment and sale of second hand clothing, etc. 12 —Cattle sale yards. 13.—General. A FULL COPY of this By-Law is deposited at the COUNTY OFFICES.
