RUNANGA-CYCLE RACE. WON BY J. DEVINE. The Runanga Cycle Club held another of their popular cycle road races yesterday, the route being to the Seven Mile and back twice, a distance of 9} miles. February 10. - Two West Coast records were broken* at the annual championship meeting of the Wanganui-Taranaki Athletic Centro on Saturday night. Purvis (Wanganui) won 1h e pole vault with 9 ft 3 ins, establishing a new figure, while L. Hunt; of Hawera, threw the hammer 117 ft d ins. The inter-club banner was won by Hawera, Wanganui being second, and New Plymouth third.
